Born from the passion and dedication of the Fayad family, we opened our doors in 2018 with a mission to share the rich flavors of Lebanon with our new community here in Plano, Texas. What started as a simple dream has since turned into a beloved gathering spot where locals come together to experience the taste of Lebanon, one bite at a time.

The story of Board Bites begins in 2016, when the Fayad family – led by Hassan, the owner and chef – moved from Lebanon to Allen, Texas, in search of a brighter future. But they didn’t just come to build a better life for themselves – they came to share the joy of Lebanese cuisine with the American community. Hassan, with his deep roots in the Middle East, brought with him recipes passed down through generations, along with the spices and ingredients that give Lebanese food its unique, rich flavor.

When Board Bites first opened, we made a simple but lasting impression. Our signature pita wraps were served on an actual wooden board, accompanied by crispy French fries and a side of homemade garlic paste, or Toum, a creamy garlic sauce that’s a staple in Lebanese kitchens. It didn’t take long for our customers to fall in love with the fresh, flavorful food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

At Board Bites, it’s all about making you feel like family. Hassan prepares everything daily from scratch – from the tender falafel that greets every guest, to the perfectly spiced shawarma, the warm hummus, and the mouthwatering kebabs. Every ingredient, every dish, is made with love, and we believe that’s what keeps our loyal customers coming back again and again.
